Master lost sector not dropping exotics

I heard about exotics almost guarantee dropping when you complete a master lost sector solo so I've tried master lost sectors twice on my hunter and once on my warlock and I didn't get a single exotic from all 3 runs even tho I got platinum on every run.

Here's what I do. On days with easy sectors like Skydock, I fill my engram slots and farm for lost sector exotic engrams in post master. Then on days with armor I want, I just pop it from the Postmaster to get what I want, as these still count as lost sector exotics and get mapped to that day's arnor typeBusiness, Economics, and Finance.
