Planning to get a new hunting bow compound. These were the top of my list, when I tried them out: Mathews Z7. Bowtech Destroyer 350. Bowtech Assassin. I also want to consider the Mathews Helium, but I haven't yet been able to try out yet. I found the Z7 to be very smooth and accurate, and the Destroyer actually seemed to have a better response.

I am a Hoyt fan and have been for 30+ years. I have tried (owned and shot) the other brands but feel that Hoyt feels and shoots best for me. OK guys here's my breakdown and opinion on both bows that own. Both bows are both setup at Peak Weight at 65lbs at 28 inch draw and both have string loops, string silencers, G5 peeps. Maxxis hold weight is 16lbs; Z7 hold weight is 13 lbs. The IBO's are 323 for the Maxxis and 332 for the Z7.Hoyt was making phenomenal bows and racking up trophies world wide as they pulled in more quality shooters.
