Straight weights (20W or 30W) don't cause the issue, nor do heavier multi grade weights., The only difference when I make my adjustments is that the top lid is supported with the springs upwards. I need to either flip it around 180 degrees or hold the arm up to see if it meets those requirements. Again, thank you for the help. I am new to mechanical work and really want to learn.
