Field trips within OYM 2020 has been started!

Field trips organized by UGA:

• 24 September 2020 – Ba, Pb, Zn, Cu mineralized outcrops near Saint Jean de Maurienne (Jarrier) – hydrothermal geochemistry and tectonics at play
• 25 September 2020 – cultural heritage around La Mure (coal mine close in 1997), Pb-Zn mineralization in Laffrey
• 13 October 2020 – Vica cement facility in Saint Egrève
• 14 October 2020 – Carnoules Pb-Zn Mine – acid mine drainage and environmental remediation
• 16 October 2020 – underground Hurtière PbZn mine – cultural heritage and ore geology

• 2 October 2020 – Costa Vicentina, Malhão beach and Almograve beach: structural geology
• 9 October 2020 – Montemor-o-Novo mineralizations – ore prospecting and fieldwork
• 16 October 2020 – Loulé salt mine – underground mineral exploitation technologies
• 23 October 2020 – São Domingos old mine site – sulphide mineralizations and environmental issues
• 30 October 2020 – Aljustrel – Gossan, old mining tunnel visit, old mineral processing

• 14 October 2020 – Złoty Stok Gold Mine: relics of 700 years of Au and As exploitation and their geotourist use
• 15 October 2020 – Łęknica, Muskau Arch: Anthropogenic and natural deformations of the terrain in post-mining areas of the former brown coal mine „Babina”, „Former Babina Mine” geotourist trail, Muskau Arch Geopark
• 16 October 2020 – Izerskie Mountains: Mining heritage route (tin and cobalt ore mining) „Along the footprints of old ore mining” in Krobica as a model example of protection and adaptation of selected post-mining facilities
• 17 October 2020 – Rogoźnica: former granite quarry, mining heritage route and geological surveying
