They are both very nice bows, but the CP30 draw cycle in comfort and the BT grip would probably sway me towards the Bowtech. The Phase 4 will be quieter, deader and faster., The Mathews has an amazing back wall. There is hardly any creep and it’s very solid. The Hoyt has a very spongy back wall. For that reason, Mathews wins this category. Speed. In my Bowmar Bowhunting video, I shoot both bows. With my Hoyt (85 lbs.) I shot 308 ft/sec. With the Mathews (75 lbs.) I shot 307 ft/sec, making the Mathews ..., The Lift has a longer riser which makes a difference with stability and accuracy. the Lift will shoot 3-6 fps faster then the Phase4 or V3X’s. The weight difference is substantial though, you will definitely notice that. That’s the biggest upgrade about that Lift that’s tremendously different then the Phase4 and V3X., The Mathews was shooting at 307 fps vs 296 from the Hoyt (!). I was so impressed by the draw cycle vs. speed from the Mathews.
