Check clutch adjustment on the PTO. Most of these tractors have a two stage clutch. Push the pedal all the way down and make sure the PTO does not scrape when you put it into gear. You will probably need a PTO drive Implement on the back to check for this. It's very easy to adjust the clutch through the bellhousing.

Mahindra didnt have a gasket kit and i didnt want to pay $100+ for the part but ill get them to fix that when they do the clutch. Clutch is not connected in any way with the pto function. It’s totally Indepentent which is what I believe they actually call it. Engage the lever then when ready to start the pto just engage the switch. It doesn’t slam on per say.
