I had the GSG 5/522 conversion kit installed, which replaces the charging tube with a metal one that has the correct holes to allow the installation of mp5 handguards (like the Magpul one). I'm not sure if there's an easy way to install the magpul handguard on the stock GSG-16, unfortunately. Wish I could help!
