D3 primal ancient

Any legendary that drops has the same chance to be ancient or primal. Each piece of gear dropped in a GR doesn't have a higher chance at being primal in a higher GR. With that, you get more legendaries in a higher GR. So theoretically you have a higher chance of getting one. But only if you're being fast/efficient.

The best way to increase your chance of ancients / primals is therefore to increase the number of legendaries you earn. The higher the GR level you complete, the more legendaries the guardian at the end drops, up to a point where it caps out around 12 or so.
