Code p2646 honda element. I have a 2007 Element, SC. It has 210,000 miles on the car. At 200,000 I had a P2646 code pop up. Check engine light came on, VSA and The triangle and exclamation mark. The vehicle bucked and shook on hard acceleration. I was out of town and had a local mechanic change out the VVT pressure switch, change the oil.

It was a gigantic pain in the dick and didn't solve the issue, but it did make the code switch from p2646 to p2647, and turn back on immediately after clearing codes. I figured that meant it was very unlikely to be any actual physical issues with oil pressure - blockages, low oil, dirty passages or crud somewhere in the system.
